What is Chemistry?

Chemistry is the study of matter as atoms, molecules and chemical reactions called the interactions between them occur. In the broadest sense, the chemistry is really the science of all available materials, the world around you. This includes all “things” you see, hear, smell, touch and taste! Matter is anything that has mass and occupies space and all matter is the fundamental building blocks called “atoms” together.

About 100 atoms known to exist in the universe and are registered and classified in a table called “periodic table of elements. “The names of some of these elements will be familiar to most people, and includes elements such as oxygen, iron, helium, chlorine and platinum. Knowing that it can be seen almost as part of our general knowledge. These fundamental building blocks or” elements “can respond to some interesting combinations to form a molecule. With the break and form bonds of the atoms or molecules of different substances can be converted into new substances, either release or consume energy during the process or the chemical reaction.

The wonders of chemistry, is that if these elementary particles combine to form molecules, they make something new and unique. These new substances are formed during chemical reactions are either naturally or intentionally produced by chemists, certain desirable properties that do not get in the original material! One of the main function of a chemist, it is known, the atoms of substances to produce new products useful to mankind to move. These new materials can cure anything stronger materials in industry, medicine or drugs that help cure disease and can be used.

Chemistry is one of the major branches or parts of scientific studies. Science is really simple and really only on the understanding of the world you live in. It can not scientists studying all aspects of this world we live in and many different areas of science that exists, it is all a bit overwhelming if not divided into categories. Categories, such as chemicals, so the researchers at a number of related issues and to communicate with others interested in similar problems and can better understand the science.

Chemistry can be divided into several parts, such as chemical reactions, elements and connections, power and endothermic chemical reactions, among others. Each sub-sector, in turn, more specific areas. Understanding the fundamental properties of matter and learn to predict how and if they play on new material change is that the chemical and pharmaceutical anyone explain!
